So I am looking for some help regarding a knocking noise that I have on a 2.0 TDI CR 102hp (CAAB) installed in my VW T5, mileage around 120 000 km (approx. 75 000 mi) that I am struggling to solve. The knocking noise is mostly hearable on cold start but still presents when engine is warm even if it is harder to hear it, noise frequency 20 TDI engine issue BPW – 12-04-2020, 12:10 PM. Recently changed the turbo all went well till I started the car flashed up straight away after a couple of minutes gave it a little rpm 3k and the low pressure oil flashed on for about 3 secs just after the engine just stopped.

biju2000 6 posts · Joined 2017. #10 · Aug 12, 2017. Yes the problem is only at idle hot. CGLC or CJCA has only one pressure sensor on the top of the engine which trigger between 0.3 and 0.6 bar "sensor for reduced oil pressure". There is no pressure sensor near oil filter like CAHA or others.

TDI Audi A3. Jul 25, 2012. #1. Hi First i'm new to all this. Bought a Audi A3 2 weeks ago seemed to be runnung fine. Got it remapped on 20/07/2012 and seemed to still be running fine. While leaving a friends on 24/07/2012 it struggled to start (turning over for about 5 seconds) drove a bit put clutch in revs dropped and car cut out.
Details Mileage 87,000 (general evidence suggest diesels give poorer economy on new engines) Standard OE Map, DPF and EGR system. Not had the recent recall/emissions remap. Car is manual, FWD not Quattro. Serviced by me with fresh fuel filter, air filter and engine oil.

Hedid tell me that the 1.9 engine in the above were somewhat bullet proof and extremely easy to work on,but he has a hell of a lot of 2.0 tdi VW and Audi cars in with engine problems on a regular basis. Take that with a pinch of salt, but I did buy a 1.9.
93 Location. IPSWICH. May 31, 2021. #3. Others may disagree but I've had nothing but good experience with this engine. Ran a B7 from new to 115k with zero issues also had an 8P A3 which had the same engine and regularly got 60+ mpg zero issues. Currently run a C6 A6 on 128k again zero engine issues. .
